The Lenta Company Opened Its Second Hypermarket in Ulyanovsk

On September 7, in 6, Olympiyskiy prospect A New Hypermarket of a Federal Retail Chain Lenta was opened

The second Lenta looks identical to the one in 112, Sozidateley prospect that opened its doors in the end of June this year.

The total area of the store is 12 000 sq. m. with the sales area of 7 500 sq. m. The cash register line consists of 40 modern cash registers. The parking lot contains 500 parking spots. Lenta in Ulyanovsk will be serving customers 24 hours 7 days a week.

The new store employed 240 people, and the company is planning to hire 50 more people. About 600 people in Ulyanovsk got decent working places since Lenta came to the region.

During two month since the opening in Ulyanovsk Lenta took part in several social projects: provided the money for Margelova Park improvement and helped the poor to prepare kids for the new school year. In the end of September - beginning of October there will be children playgrounds in the city parks and yards installed at the expense of the company.

Currently Lenta is thinking about an opportunity to open a store in Dimitrovgrad, Ulyanovskaya region.
