Lenta opens its thirty ninth hypermarket in Saint-Petersburg
St. Petersburg, Russia; 19 June 2019 – Lenta, (LSE, MOEX: LNTA) one of the largest retail chains in Russia, is pleased to announce the opening of its thirty ninth hypermarket in Novoe Devyatkino, Saint-Petersburg.
The new store is Lenta compact hypermarket located at 60A Glavnaya street, Novoe Devyatkino, Leningrad region. The store has a total area of 8,655 sq.m with 5,263 sq.m of selling space and is open from 8.00 am to 11.00 pm, 7 days a week. A broad assortment of products of 24,000 SKUs has been selected specifically for residents of Novoe Devyatkino. The store has 400 parking spaces and 22 cash registers including 6 self-checkout lanes. The property is leased by Lenta.
Product assortment of the hypermarket includes Lenta’s private labels and federal product ranges alongside local produce.
The new opening is Lenta’s third hypermarket launch in 2019 and brings the total number of Lenta stores to 246 hypermarkets in 88 cities across Russia and 132 supermarkets in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Siberia, Urals and the Central region.
