Lenta opens its hypermarket in Moscow

St. Petersburg, Russia; 14 December 2018 – Lenta, (LSE, MOEX: LNTA) one of the largest retail chains in Russia, is pleased to announce the opening of its hypermarket in Naro-Fominsk, Moscow.

The new store is a Lenta compact hypermarket located at 2 Svobody Square in Naro-Fominsk, Moscow region. The store has a total area of 7,982 sq.m with 4,504 sq.m of selling space and is open 24 hours 7 days a week. The store has 400 parking spaces and 20 cash registers including 4 self-checkout lanes. The property is owned by Lenta.

A broad product assortment of 17,500 SKUs has been selected specifically for residents of Naro-Fominsk and includes Lenta’s private labels and federal product ranges alongside local produce.

This opening in Naro-Fominsk is Lenta’s sixth hypermarket opening in 2018 and brings the total number of Lenta stores to 236 hypermarkets in 85 cities across Russia and 128 supermarkets in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Siberia, Urals and the Central region.
