Lenta opens its 28th supermarket in Moscow

St-Petersburg, Russia; 28 December, 2015 – Lenta, (LSE, MOEX: LNTA) one of the largest retail chains in Russia, is pleased to announce the opening of its twenty-eighth supermarket in the Moscow region.

The new store is located at 26/3D Krestyanskaya st., Mytischi. The store has a total area of 1,427 sq.m, with 958 sq.m of selling space, and is open daily from 8.00 am to 11.00 pm. A broad product assortment of 6,500 SKUs has been selected specifically for residents of Mytischi and includes Lenta’s private label and federal product ranges alongside local produce. The store is equipped with 8 cash registers. The property is owned by Lenta.

The opening in Mytischi is Lenta’s eighth supermarket opening in 2015 and brings the total number of Lenta stores to 135 hypermarkets in 68 cities across Russia and 32 supermarkets in Moscow and St. Petersburg.
